About Us

our mission

Today Tomorrow Forever Animal Rescue (TTF) is dedicated to caring for animals in need today, reducing the unwanted animal population of tomorrow, and finding pets their forever homes.  TTF is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization committed to helping abandoned, discarded, or otherwise homeless cats and kittens in need from shelters in Southern California.

our Story

Today Tomorrow Forever Animal Rescue arose when a group of experienced and dedicated fosters decided they wanted to do more for the high-risk homeless animal population in southern California. TTF was founded in 2023 after the entire cat rescue team separated from an existing multi-species rescue to focus solely on cats.

Many of our team members have over a decade of experience rescuing, fostering and caring for the youngest and most medically vulnerable animal populations.  Collectively, our team has almost 60 years of fostering experience and we have placed thousands of animals in their forever homes.

why we’re different

TTF is an all-foster based animal rescue. We do not have a physical location – all of our animals are housed in private homes where they receive loving care by their foster families. This allows for 100% of donations to go towards animal care – we have no overhead or salaries.

  • Our expenses are food, litter, bedding, other supplies and equipment, and veterinary care.
  • TTF provides intermediate-level medical care through skilled volunteers.
  • Backed by over 60 years of combined rescue experience among its founding members.
  • Organization is both professionally grounded and passionately driven to save and rehabilitate animals in need.

By leveraging the expertise of volunteer veterinary technicians and medical professionals, the organization can offer enhanced medical services – such as diagnostics, specialized treatments, and rehabilitation – at a significantly reduced cost. This cost-effective approach allows limited funds to go further while increasing the organization’s capacity to treat more animals, including those with complex medical needs who might otherwise be turned away. The ability to deliver in-house medical care boosts credibility and demonstrates a deep commitment to animal welfare, encouraging community trust, donations, volunteer participation, and higher adoption rates.

Adopting from a rescue or shelter helps weaken the pet overpopulation cycle. There are too many animals born each year to find homes for each and every one. Your adoptions saves the lives, not only of your adopted animals, but the ones who follow by creating much needed space in a shelter or rescue.
